Reading passage/section

Every day, the Sun looks like it is moving across the sky. But actually the Sun is not moving. The Sun looks like it is moving as the Earth rotates.

When the side we live on faces the Sun, we have day. When the side we live on turns away from the Sun, we have night.

In the day sky, we can see the Sun. The Sun is a star. A star is an object that makes its own light. The Sun gives light and warmth to the Earth.

There’s no sunlight in the night sky. In the night sky we can see planets, stars and the moon. Plants are objects that move around the Sun. The Earth is a planet. The moon is the object that moves around the Earth.

Planets, stars and moon look small because they are far away from the Earth.
