Life in the past was harder for people. The way people live now has changed but somethings are also similar. People in the past and now need food, shelter, and clothing. Corn and wheat are kinds of crops.

At harvest time, these crops are gathered. In the past, on farms , people harvested crops using their hands. Now, people have machines to help them and the work has become easier.

Shelter has also changed. In the past, people lived in small houses. Now people also live in apartments. Our clothing has changed. Women in the past wore dresses only. Women today wear different kinds of colorful and interesting clothes.
